Kitchen Manager/Pastry Chef

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Based on experience, starting range $45,000-$55,000

Position Overview: A kitchen-based management position in a single location, small business bakery that caters to both daily walk-in customers and custom orders.

Requirements

  • Hold a pastry or baking degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of Professional Baking and Pastry hands on kitchen experience required.
  • Experience in a bakery or commercial kitchen leadership role preferred.
  • Able to work in quick tempo environment and be able lift 50lbs.
  • Should have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Rotating schedule includes weekends and holidays.
  • This is a full-time position, pay rate based on experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversite of all kitchen tasks
  • This is a management position but will also require hands on baking, decorating, and kitchen production while overseeing other staff
  • Oversite of all kitchen, dishwashing, & cleanup staff (10+ people at any given time)
  • Reports to General Manager & Owner
  • Works with Front of House Manager & Office Staff

About the Company

The Lucky Cupcake Company is a single location, custom bakery located in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania within Peddler’s Village, a shopping destination. We plan, bake and decorate all our desserts, pastries, and custom orders from scratch. Our doors are open seven days a week to serve our walk-in customers and fulfill custom orders for birthdays, weddings, and all special occasions.

Front of House Staff (Ages 16+)

We are not currently hiring. We will accept applications for 2026 fall and holiday help starting late spring of 2026.

Festival Staff (Ages 16+)

Hiring for outside tent staffing for Festival Weekends

For ages 16+.
Must be good with people, mental math and working in a fast-paced environment.
Set up, wait on customers and break down festival tent and supplies.
Must be able to stand for 8–10-hour shift and lift 50#

Festival Season Starts in May  and ends December with one or more festival weekends in a month.

Pay based on experience.
